Are these real GranitePro fireplaces?
Yes. Every photo is a Maryland fireplace we templated, fabricated in our own state-of-the-art facility, and installed with our own crew.
What stone works best for a fireplace?
Granite, quartzite, marble, soapstone, and quartz all work. Natural stone handles direct heat best. With quartz, we check how hot your firebox gets first, since high direct heat can discolor it. We'll help you choose at your estimate.
What fireplace work do you do?
Surrounds, hearths, mantels, shelves, and full-height stone walls.
Can you use a remnant for my fireplace?
Yes. We keep a large remnant selection, and remnants are often a great fit for surrounds and hearths. Ask at your estimate or in either showroom.
Can my fireplace match my countertops?
Yes. Tell us the stone in your kitchen and we'll help you match it or pick something that goes with it.
How do I get started?
Book a free in-home estimate below, or walk into either showroom. Eldersburg is open Mon-Fri 9-5; Columbia is open Mon-Fri 9-5 and Sat 10-3.
How long does a fireplace project take?
Most fireplace projects install 6-12 business days after we template.
Is a fireplace covered by your warranty?
Yes. All of our installation labor carries the 10-year labor warranty, fireplaces included.
Do you remove my old fireplace surround?
We don't demo existing fireplaces ourselves, but we'll coordinate with your contractor or recommend someone for the demo and prep work, so the stone goes in on schedule.
