Laurel sits right at the intersection of Howard and Prince George's Counties — a position that makes it one of the more underserved countertop markets in the region. Most fabricators are anchored to one county or the other. GranitePro serves both, and our Columbia showroom on Route 29 is the most convenient option for Laurel homeowners looking to see real slabs in person without driving to Baltimore or DC.
We fabricate everything at our own Eldersburg shop — CNC and waterjet cutting, digital templating, edge profiling, and seam planning all handled by our own team. We serve Laurel, Savage, Jessup, Bowie, Elkridge, and the surrounding communities from our Columbia showroom, about 15 minutes north via Route 29.

Quartz brands we carry
All quartz lines we carry are GreenGuard Gold certified — independently tested for low chemical emissions, safe for households with kids and anyone sensitive to indoor air quality. We carry brands across two price tiers. Every brand is available to Laurel homeowners through our Columbia showroom or a free in-home estimate.
Cambria
The only major quartz brand with a lifetime warranty, made in the U.S. Their Marble Collection produces some of the most realistic veined looks in engineered stone — dense and highly stain-resistant.
Caesarstone
One of the original quartz brands with a long track record in Maryland. Wide range of finishes including matte, concrete-look, and ultra-white. A strong choice for clean, modern kitchens.
Silestone
Made by Cosentino using HybriQ technology — a hybrid of quartz and recycled materials. Good range of neutrals and whites, with realistic upper-tier marble-look patterns.
Vicostone
Striking veined and marble-inspired patterns at a value price. A strong pick if you want dramatic movement without moving into premium pricing.
MSI Q Quartz
A broad color range covering whites, veined looks, and concrete finishes. Reliable consistency and solid construction — a dependable value option for Laurel homeowners.
Polar Stone
Clean, consistent color palette with solid coverage of neutrals and whites. A reliable workhorse for kitchens that want dependable quality at an accessible price point.
Dal-Tile
Practical color range, consistent quality — a solid choice for budget-conscious Laurel projects that still want engineered stone performance.

Ask About a Brand →Granite, quartzite, Dekton & natural stone
Quartz is our most popular material but it isn't right for every kitchen. Granite is fully heat-resistant — hot pans directly on the surface, no trivets needed — UV-stable for outdoor kitchens, and every slab is genuinely unique. For Laurel homeowners who cook heavily or want a one-of-a-kind countertop, granite is often the better answer. Periodic sealing is required, but it's a 10-minute homeowner job every few years.
Quartzite is a natural stone frequently confused with quartz — completely different materials. Quartzite is harder than granite, more heat-resistant, and often produces looks that rival the best marble. It's typically priced above granite. Worth seeing in person at our Columbia showroom if you want natural stone with marble-like aesthetics.
Dekton is an ultra-compact sintered surface — zero porosity, extreme scratch and heat resistance, and UV-stable for outdoor use. The right call for high-demand kitchens or outdoor cooking areas in Savage, Jessup, or anywhere in the area. We carry Dekton alongside our full stone lineup.
Granite
Fully heat-resistant, UV-stable, unique per slab. Periodic sealing — a 10-min job every few years.
