GranitePro's One-Stop-Shop for Countertop Installation
DONE IN JUST ONE DAY

When GranitePro shows up to install your countertops, you’re getting our people — the same team that works out of our Eldersburg facility every day, trained our way, and accountable to us. Every installer who walks into your home is a GranitePro employee.

The job gets done in a day. Our crew arrives in the morning, your old countertops are removed and hauled away, your new countertops are set and installed, and our plumber is there by 3pm to reconnect everything. You can use your kitchen the following day.

Most home improvement projects take over your house for days. Painting, flooring, cabinet work — you’re living in a construction zone, coordinating multiple contractors, waiting for things to dry. Countertop installation with GranitePro is different. It really is the easiest major transformation you can make in your home.

What Happens on Installation Day

When our crew arrives: Floor protection goes down immediately — mats are placed throughout the work area to protect your floors and cabinets before anything is touched.

Plumbing disconnect: We disconnect your existing plumbing carefully and cleanly before removal begins.

Countertop removal: One of the most common concerns homeowners have is whether removing old countertops will damage their cabinets. It won’t. Our crews remove countertops every day — we know exactly how to take them out cleanly without disturbing the cabinet boxes underneath.

Haul away: Your old countertops are loaded into our vehicle and disposed of. You don’t have to arrange a dumpster, make a trip to the dump, or figure out what to do with the old material. It’s gone.

Setting and leveling: Your new countertops are set, aligned, and leveled — fully supported across the entire cabinet run. Because every slab is fabricated at our own state-of-the-art Eldersburg facility to your exact measurements, the fit is precise before our crew ever walks through your door. This isn’t cut-to-fit on site — it’s engineered to fit from the start.

Seams: We do not cut for yield, we cut for cosmetic and structural optimization. This means consistent flow and fewer seams. Where slabs meet, we use top of the line adhesive that creates a bond as strong as the stone itself. Seams are color-matched and finished carefully — they hide well. If you know where they are you can find them, but when you step back and take in the whole kitchen, they disappear into the stone.

Sink anchoring: Most companies use basic methods to secure undermount sinks. We use a formal sink anchoring system combined with pure silicone — not cheap caulk — that locks the sink firmly in place. It’s one of those details you’ll never see but you’ll never have a problem with either.

Plumber arrives: By mid-afternoon our plumber arrives to reroute and reconnect your new plumbing configuration — faucet, disposal, supply lines, everything. This is included. You don’t need to hire a separate plumber.

You’re done: By end of day your kitchen is back together. No mess left behind, no return visits needed. You can use your kitchen the following day.

What To expect before installation day

A little preparation goes a long way:

  • Clear items out from under your sink and off your countertops before our crew arrives
  • Pop out top row of drawers and empty top shelves of any cabinets (Ex. top layer of lazy susan)
  • Make sure there’s a clear path from your front door to the kitchen
  • If you have fragile items in cabinets near the work area, move them out as a precaution
  • That’s it — we handle everything else!

Why GranitePro Installation is Different

We fabricate what we install. Every countertop is cut at our Eldersburg manufacturing facility by our team, then installed by our team. When the fabricator and installer are the same company, the fit is right the first time.

No subcontractors. Our installation crews are GranitePro employees. You know who’s coming into your home.

Plumbing included. Our plumber is part of the process, not an afterthought. Most competitors leave plumbing reconnection to you.

Pure silicone, not caulk. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference over time.

Proprietary sink anchoring. Your undermount sink isn’t going anywhere.

One day. Kitchen usable the next morning. No living without a kitchen for a week.

Ready To get STarted?

The process starts with a free in-home estimate. We come to you, take rough dimensions for an accurate quote, walk you through your material options, and inspect the space for anything that could affect the project — so there are no surprises on installation day. Most customers go from estimate to installed countertops in two to three weeks.
